EDUCATION

Graduate of Akron General Hospital School of Nursing

Bachelor's Degree in Vocational Education from Kent State University

Master's Degree in Technical Education from the University of Akron

I continuously attend seminars and workshops to improve my teaching strategies for addressing the needs of my students.  In order to maintain my Ohio licensure for nursing, I earn at least 24 hours of continued education units every two years.  My focus of study in continued nursing education includes laws that regulate workers in the medical field, updates in nursing practice and maintaining my CPR certification.
