MACHINING & CNC TECHNOLOGY
Students who enroll in this class should have some prior knowledge of machining and want to upgrade their skill level to that of a CNC Machinist. Learn blueprint reading, applied machining mathematics, use of precision measurement tools, basic CNC machine programming and use of PC simulation software for program verification.

PLUMBING
See how plumbing systems are designed. Learn plumbing codes and standards, how to rebuild fixtures, make fittings, solder pipe, read blueprints, install pipe, and much more.

SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
Want to learn how to repair your own lawn mower, weed eater and other small air-cooled engines that are used for home, garden, lawn and recreation? The basics of engine components and diagnostics of simple engine problems will be covered. Bring your small engine project to class.

INTERMEDIATE SMALL ENGINE REPAIR
This course is a continuation of the Small Engine Repair class. Gain the skills necessary to work on small engines for a rental center, small engine repair shop or a lawn and garden center. Students will learn tractor repair, hydraulics and the   latest technology on zero radius mowers. Prerequisite: Small Engine Repair.

BASIC ELECTRICITY
This course begins with the basics of electricity and safety, AC principles, wiring, schematics and codes. Basic troubleshooting and repair. Diagrams; schematics and test instruments.

WELDING
Students will be introduced to a variety of welding techniques in this beginning welding program. The course will cover Arc, Oxyacetylene, Mig and Tig welding. Learn about welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum welding, fundamental joints in all positions, manual machine and carbon arc cutting, and all position welding using basic joints.

LANDSCAPE AND BASIC MAINTENANCE
Learn the basic principles of landscape design, as well as planting techniques, plant and grass choices. Gain skills in estimating plant materials, use and care of tools and equipment, and clean up.
