FINANCIAL AID

Educational Bank Loans Loans for educational programs under 600 hours are now available for those who qualify. Call our Financial Aid office at 330-896-8123.

Federal PELL Grant PELL is a federal grant that provides an eligible student with monies that can be applied to the cost of tuition, fees, books, and equipment. Students enrolled in a program of at least 900 hours can receive a Federal PELL Grant of up to $4310 per year. Students enrolled in 600 hour programs can receive a PELL award of up to $2873. Because this is a grant program, these monies are not repaid by the student.

Federal STAFFORD Loan Program This program allows eligible students to borrow money at a low interest rate. Money borrowed from this program must be repaid. Repayment of the loan begins six months after the student graduates or withdraws from the Career Center.

Federal PLUS Program This type of loan can be borrowed by the parents of a dependent student whose PELL and Stafford Awards are not sufficient to cover their educational expenses. Repayment of this loan can be deferred until after the student graduates or withdraws from the school; however, interest begins to accrue as soon as the loan is disbursed.

Veterans Education Benefits Interested students should contact the Financial Aid Office for application assistance at 330-896-8123.
