DIVERSIFIED COOPERATIVE TRAINING (DCT) Length of Program: 1 year/ Senior only Credits earned: 5 Location: Coventry campus only Instructor: Pat Waddington pwaddington@coventry.k12.oh.us Diversified Cooperative Training (DCT) is a one-year vocational program in a co-op situation designed for seniors who have a desire to work. The senior student must get a job and maintain employment throughout the senior year in order to receive high school credit towards graduation. The type of employment is upon approval of the DCT coordinator. Curriculum includes employability skills, problems in today’s work environment, money management, job safety, employer and employee security, etc. Career Opportunities: Nine months of entry-level on-the-job training in a career of the student’s choice
