Student Activities Information

Statement of Purpose: The Student Activities Committee at Portage Lakes Career Center consists of junior and senior students who plan social activities at the school.  Unlike a student government where students are elected to serve, P.L.C.C. students may volunteer to serve on the committee at any time throughout the school year.  Meetings are generally held the second week of each month during fifth period in the Captain’s Quarters.  Mrs. Forrest serves as the advisor, and officers are elected in November.  Students with good attendance who wish to run for an office should complete the officer questionnaire form.  A teacher recommendation is suggested but not required.
