COOPERATIVE BUSINESS EDUCATION Length of Program: 1 year/ Senior only Credits earned: 5 Location: Green campus only Instructor: Juli Rensel pl_rensel@portagelakescareercenter.org This course prepares seniors for employment in various business and office positions. While in class, students learn standard business techniques, human relations, receptionist duties, Office 2003, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access. Students attend school one-half of the day and receive on-the-job training for one-half of the day. Upon completion of the program, students may pursue higher education, retain their present employment, or advance to new business positions.
